Anji is a relative newcomer to the world of Posi Music, but she’s a singer songwriter that you will be hearing more of.  Her debut CD, produced by Daniel Nahmod, is absolutely great.  Anji has a super voice that can handle a wide variety of musical styles from a tender ballad to a blues number and her new CD showcases her voice in a wide variety of styles.

One of my favorite songs on the CD is "That’s Who I Am", which is based on a Rumi poem.  It also contains elements of the Prayer for Protection.  It has a very hooky melody that will be in your head for days.

"You Better Believe It" is a great, up beat song about believing in oneself.  It’s always great to have big dreams and another thing to actually believe that you can manifest them. "You Better Believe It" has a great singable chorus and a strong musical hook.

"Your Time"  is another song with a great musical hook.  The lyrics remind us that we are responsible for creating our own magical lives, and then recognizing that life when we are in it. It sounds easy, but there’s a bit of a trick to stepping outside of oneself to take an accurate picture of what’s around you.

Anji has also included a bonus track of the very popular song “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen.

This is a beautiful CD with sparkling vocals and great production.  I can’t wait for the next CD from this talented artist.
