Daniel is the composer of some of the most popular contemporary songs in the Unity movement.

Singer-songwriter and producer Daniel Nahmod (pronounced Nay-mod) is one of the most beloved and successful independent singer-songwriters in the United States today, and recently brought 3,000 people to their feet as keynote performer at the 2018 Parliament of World Religions in Toronto.

He has sold over 110,000 CDs on his own Humanity Music label, and his music has been licensed by American Idol, The Voice, The Super Bowl, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, and hundreds of cable programs on over 25 networks.  Daniel’s charismatic and humorous stage presence, stunning 3-octave vocal range, exceptional musicianship on piano and guitar, and award-winning catalog of powerful and diverse pop-rock, folk and inspirational songs have brought acclaim at performances for over two million people in 45 U.S. states and Canada.

His signature catalog of positive pop songs — music of love, compassion and connection across all nations, cultures and faiths — is performed around the world on a daily basis by thousands of recording artists, music ministers of all denominations, choirs and houses of worship.  Daniel himself has performed for Catholic, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Mormon, Unity, Hindu, Jewish, Bahai, Interfaith and secular audiences; his renowned omni-faith song “One Power” was called “an anthem for the new humanity” by Deepak Chopra.

Daniel is thrilled to part of the Advisory Board for empower Music & Arts.  He is deeply grateful for the musicians community created by empower and looks forward to helping that community continue to grow.
