Goin’ over to my sister’s house today, A family get together to celebrate the holiday
I keep try’in to tell myself that everything will be OK , But I’m not looking forward to things I know my mom will say
Not everything will be shiny and bright, My brother-in-law will prob’ly pick a fight
And it doesn’t even matter what I get for my wife ‘Cause it prob’ly won’t be right.
I’m not feeling anything near bliss, But can I find Joy in even this?
Can we find Joy in this moment, Look past the presents and the tree, see what this season really means
Joy is only in this moment, That’s what it’s all about and it’s here in the now
Can we cut through the noise ‘Cause it’s not about the toys It’s Joy! Can we find Joy?
What we focus on is what we get, Leave behind the past, the things that we regret
Stay out of the future, that hasn’t happened yet, Be here in the now, keep your mind on the present
Practice Gratitude with every breath, That’s the fastest way to move from stressed to blessed
Can we find Joy in this moment, Look past the presents and the tree, see what this season really means
Joy is only in this moment, That’s what it’s all about and it’s here in the now

When we cultivate Joy in ourselves we can share that Joy with everybody else
