True To Myself

Sitting right beside me, your hand holding mine

It’s easy to see, how our lives inter-twine

In Spirit we are one, but for me to truly love

You I have to be, okay just as me

I have to be True to Myself

Can’t live my life for someone else

I need the space to be who I’m meant to be

Whole and complete on my own

The choices I make are mine, alone

To my own self I have to be true

I have to Love me, and then I can love you

Please don’t mis-understand, what I have to say

I’m not trying to push you away

But I need to set some boundaries,

In order to ground me

To know where I end, and you begin

I have to be True to Myself
