About Me
Carolyn West, owner-operator of The Little Red School of Art & Music in Stratford, Connecticut, has been teaching children art in her hometown since 1993. She has built a loving and magnificent art and music school largely by word of mouth, and her love of people (especially the little ones) permeates every aspect of the school, from the “decorated from the heart” building where the school resides, to her choice of instructors, who give the entire school a sense of an extended and caring family.
Few schools enjoy this kind of reputation, and few artists care about children the way Ms. West has done, and continues to do.
