About Me
the “Fragrance of Sound” (TM); is an ambient meditation soundscape performing and recording ensemble invoking harmonic sacred sound, and experiential primordial multi-sensory states of awareness.
The Fragrance of Sound has 2 main members, Kaiumari and Esteban Ayotl. Esteban is a lineage shaman (passed down from his grandmother’s side). Kaiumari has a background in alternative medicine, and internal martial arts (chi), and has been in the sound healing arts since 1990. She has also apprenticed and partnered with a well known sound healer for 8 years in the Los Angeles Area. Esteban has further studied for 20 years with a Mongolian lineage shaman. Both Esteban and Kaiumari share through concerts, interactive sound circles, living ceremony, and indigenous native classes.
