About Me

A native of Northern New Jersey, Susan first picked up the guitar in her late teens and began composing her own songs. She became a regular feature in Jersey clubs and coffeehouses, performing everything from jazz standards to rock, blues and originals.

Since moving to Nashville in 2003 Susan has continued to write and perform regularly as well as using her skills as a music teacher and vocal arranger to direct the choir for the Nashville Center for Spiritual Living for the past three and a half years. As a performer she has had the honor of being invited to play with partner Gary Gullbergh for the 2005 Tin Pan South festivities and her music has gained the interest and attention of several prominent publishers.

“Illumination” newly released in April 2009 is the latest collection of songs by this diverse writer / artist.

In addition to her work as a songwriter arranger teacher and musician Susan is a passionate advocate for all things environmental and is the host of a Nashville-based local access environmental cable show called “Earth Revolution” (www.earthrevolution.org) which she co-produces with her husband Gary in Nashville and which can be seen four times weekly on Comcast channel 19 in Davidson County TN.
