About Me

Sue Young got her start performing in the clubs and coffeehouses in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico along with a stint in Ecuador. In 1985 she moved to Austin Texas where she began to sing in and write for progressive and New Thought churches, as well as developing a career as a children’s entertainer. the Austin Chronicle called her 1998 CD release “From The Mother – Songs Of The Sacred Feminine” – “lush and loving” and KUNV FM called her 2003 release “River Of Life” – “a beautiful soulmaking album”. Sue released an award winning children’s album “The Legend Of The Quetzal” in 2007. Her latest CD “Gliding” returns to her folk and singer songwriter roots, but carries a deep spirituality. Her voice has been called “angelic” and “powerful medicine”.
