About Me
Sharon D Henderson & Reflection is a popular SF Bay Area musical/vocal group who performs at churches, temples, concerts, cafes and venues all over the bay Area. Their spiritual repertoire consists mainly of their musical style which Sharon has termed “Gosperational”, which is a blend of rich gospel songs from her Baptist roots and inspirational songs which are drawn from any style of music which uplifts and inspires.
Sharon currently serves as Director for the Women’s Chorus of the East Bay Church (A Center for Spiritual Living) in Oakland California. Adding to her musical endeavors, Sharon works as a backing vocalist with Ray McCoy’s Luther Vandross Tribute band, and also works as a vocalist for weddings, memorials and recoding ventures.
Sharon has two music projects to her credit; a CD “Through It All”, and the single “Think On These Things (Phil 4:8). She is actively working on her third release. Reflection Band performs a large repertoire of R&B, Pop, Jazz and Rock music, which the group writes and/or chooses for venues and events in the Bay Area and beyond. With a charter to uplift, inspire and spread the joy of the music experience, this dynamic group boasts an impressive depth of instrumental music acumen held by each member of the band. Every member has many years of stage and recording experience, and brings all the training and experience to spiritual and secular audiences for the sheer enjoyment of playing the music.
