About Me

Patricia Bahia (pronounced Bah-HEE-yah) is an indie pop singer-songwriter and cancer survivor, reborn as the musical lovechild of Paul McCartney and Joni Mitchell. With a voice as smooth as polished stone that’s been through the rock tumbler of life, and a collection of sparkling indie pop tunes in the vein of Aimee Mann, Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles, she lives her bucket list and inspires others to do the same.

A former jazz and gospel singer, Patricia started as a soloist with the acclaimed Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, where she recorded with Linda Ronstadt, performed with Joan Baez and opened for Bonnie Raitt. She discovered a bucket list desire to write songs during successful treatment for ovarian cancer 12 years ago. Now healed, she’s on a mission to spread love, healing, joy and peace through the power of words and music–and to inspire others to follow their dreams.
