About Me
A seasoned musician, singer/songwriter, workshop leader and song leader. Since December 2008, she has been leading the music team and choir at Unity Spiritual Center in Sun City, AZ with enthusiasm and passion for community singing. Prior to her arrival at USC, Lyndsey spent the last 20 years teaching a process called “SpiritSong” which helped many people find their inner voice through singing. She currently continues this work in private sessions. Originally from New York state and a 25-year Massachusetts resident, Lyndsey has been a performing musician for over 40 years.
Lyndsey is also a member of the Board of Directors for Ben Speaks Louder Than Words, a nonprofit organization with a passionate mission of creating alternative resources for expression (C.A.R.E.) and stomping out teen suicide. Ben Speaks was created by her sister, Judy Giovangelo, in response to the suicide death of her son (Lyndsey’s nephew), Benjamin, following his 18th birthday in April 2009. Lyndsey is the director for their annual “A Concert to Remember”.
