About Me
Lauri Jones is a pop-soul singer/songwriter residing in Portland, Oregon. With a brand new album, entitled “Walk Your Life”, she digs deeper into her mission to bring her audience closer to their hearts and spirit nature. Collaborating with other talented and conscious musicians, Lauri has created what she likes to call “a soundtrack to the heart-centered path”, designed to empower, uplift, and inspire. The message is one of unity, accessing the heart that connects us all as we walk our lives. The production is rich and eclectic and shows Lauri’s remarkable range and versatility. Each song is brought to life in an artistically unique way that is also highly accessible. The album is co-produced with drummer/pianist Eric Joseph Montgomery (Annika Forrest Project producer/musician), and also features Brian Harris on keys (Curtis Salgado/Lisa Mann), Craig Benelli on electric and acoustic guitars (4 Stories High/Laura Berman), Rick Bouvette on bass (Annika Forrest Project/Joy Tribe), Gary Skye on piano, Michael Mandrell on acoustic guitar, Matt W. on fiddle, and Mary Rowell on viola.
Lauri originally hails from the San Francisco Bay Area, where she began her performing career. She has a diverse background, having appeared in regional theaters (in a variety of musicals), jazz clubs, cabaret venues, in pop and dance bands, and traveling the world on cruise ships. She has shared the stage with the likes of Patti LaBelle and George Benson, has sung back-up on recordings of such artists as Diana Ross, and had the great honor of singing with the legendary Boston Pops. She also finds great fulfillment performing in spiritual centers, where she can share her music at an even deeper level.
