About Me

Lance Hoppen is a multi-talented singer/songwriter, best known as the singing bassist and co-founder of the Pop/Rock band “Orleans” … who brought you the mega-hits “Dance With Me” and “Still the One” in the mid-70s. Lance grew up on Long Island and moved to Woodstock, NY right out of high school to join Orleans. He moved to Nashville in 1989 to be a part of Country radio’s chart-toppers “Baillie & the Boys”. Since then he’s worked with many of Nashville’s greats, all the while keeping Orleans alive, working and productive these past 37 years. He enjoys playing acoustic guitar in the band at Nashville Center for Spiritual Living, where he has been attending services since 1994. A “band guy” for his entire career, Lance considers himself a late-bloomer as a singer/songwriter.
