Unity affiliated since 1980’s;
Former associate of Luis (Coco) Ramos;
Music director Unity Spiritual Center of Denton (TX) 10 years; singer/songwriter/pianist; working on recording a “retrospective” collection that demonstrates my legacy of spiritual evolution; Unity message-appropriate songs included in this project range from “jazzy” to introspective inspiration; band includes grammy award winning woodwind master, Jeffrey Barnes;
After a long career in music performance and acting I re-trained in mid-life. As a result I have an MS in counseling/development and an MA in music therapy; I am credentialed in psychotherapy as a licensed professional counselor, (LPC), certified sex-addiction therapist (CSAT), and I’m trained in several trauma-treatment modalities; I’m also a board certified music therapist (MT-BC); my spouse and I have an out-patient private practice in Denton TX specializing in the treatment of addictions and trauma. Previous talks I’ve offered have had themes of positive and negative sides of ego and the juxtaposition of spiritual and psychological growth, with an emphasis on something they have in common: the body. I look forward to sharing my music and message and to enjoying another conference next spring!
