Penelope Williams ‚Äì Minister of Music Penelope Williams joined Trinity Center for Spiritual Living as Music Minister in December 2009. Penelope brings broad musical credentials 30 years of music experience and a loving New Thought consciousness to the role. By way of credentials and experience: “‚Ä¢Penelope is an accomplished jazz musician with 30 years of performing experience. Her piano and vocal music are known throughout the New Thought community. ” “‚Ä¢Penelope holds a Master of Music degree from GA State University. ” “‚Ä¢She was the Music Director for the Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta” and Unity North Atlanta Church where she established a record of inspired personal and guest performances. Penelope was previously the Programs and Events Director for GA State University School of Music. In that role she had responsibility for booking scheduling and promoting GA State’s P&E calendar.”‚Ä¢Penelope’s choir experience includes leading the Unity North Church adult choir” and founded the New Thought Choir Festival with 300+ singers. She directed GSU Vocal Jazz Choir where she was Interim Director for one year. “‚Ä¢She has performed for President Carter on more than one occasion; she has performed at the Kennedy Center and at select venues as a jazz musician and in performances nationwide. ” “‚Ä¢Penelope served on the Board of Governors of the Nat‚Äôl Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences” (Atlanta) She is well connected in both local music circles and in the national New Thought movement.
