About Me
I’ve been fortunate enough to have my songs on albums that have sold more than 50,000,000 copies, with singles on Billboard’s Pop, R&B, and Country charts–all at the same time.
I’ve written three of the most successful books about how to be a songwriter–all published by Billboard Books. Along the way I found that one of my greatest passions and gifts is educating developing songwriters and recording artists. I developed and continue to teach the BMI Songwriters Workshops and teach seminars and master classes throughout the world.
I’m honored to be a judge of the Posi Awards.
