About Me
Jamie Murphy is a singer-songwriter and performs on guitar and piano. He attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston and later worked as a guitarist with Van Morrison performing the music from his album, “Astral Weeks.” Mr. Murphy’s first release was “Pockets Full of Tales” in 1977 which received air-play on WEEI FM radio in Boston. His first EP was released in 2003 and is entitled, “Issues in D.” Mr. Murphy’s music is an eclectic blend of pop, folk, and rock. His lyrics center on social issues among other things.
