About Me

Emily Szal grew up loving music and performing.

In the early days she imitated Shirley Temple and began playing the violin at the tender age of four. Along the way, Emily also mastered the piano, clarinet, and baritone. Throughout her student years, she participated in school musicals, marching band, concert band, symphony orchestra and was Drum Major in her high school marching band.

Emily pursued her love of music at West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she studied with a concentration in violin and received a BA in Music Education in 2014. She spent a summer studying violin at Interlochen Arts Academy and was an officer in her college music fraternity. In her senior year, she co-wrote and recorded her first CD, “Sing” which was produced by Daniel Nahmod.
