About Me
I am a guitar player, singer, songwriter, and musician. I play once a month at Unity of Merced where I am the “unofficial” Music Dirctor, and monthly at Open Mic Night at the American Legion. I am often asked to perform for weddings, funerals, and at social events such as dinner parties. In the past I played in a local country/classic rock band and the college jazz band. I got my first guitar as an 8th grade graduation present, taught myself to play and then started my first rock band in High School. I continued to play in college, and then went into the Marines. When I came back from Vietnam I was based in Hawaii and played at a night club in Kailua on Sunday nights at a piano bar on the piano player’s day off. I enjoy writing original music, or taking popular contemporary music and changing the lyrics to fit the occasion.
