About Me
I picked up the guitar for the first time at the age of 17 while living in Brazil. Even though my mother, who was my piano teacher and choir director/organist at our church, raised me with music, my passion was inextricably influenced by the Bossa Nova and the poetic lyrics of Brazilian music. I was self -taught on the instrument I fell in love with while in Brazil, the guitar.
Singing, playing and creating music brings me pure joy. It’s inside of me.
I began playing guitar by creating simple songs. Later I created feminist songs, recorded a cassette, and played at the Women’s Music Festival in Yosemite, California.
Years later, the focus of my music naturally shifted, reflecting the deepening relationship I acknowledged with God, the “All There Is”, and my own Divinity. As a born truth seeking Gnostic, I was destined to find my life transforming through a spiritual journey that has never ended. My spirituality leads me back to my true and higher self. I believe many of my songs today are channeled.
I have played my music professionally in many spiritual centers and churches in California, New York, Brazil, and more recently, at Religious Science and New Thought churches in Florida.
I have had the privilege of being in wonderful choirs since I was old enough to sing. I sang at the Monterey Jazz Festival and Agape with the Inner Light Ministries choir, among other arenas.
I am told that my music helps others experience the joy and connectivity that comes from getting in touch with who they truly are in spirit. All I want is to share this gift with those that are led to listen, feel, and experience the gift of Spirit inside them, remembering who they truly are.
