About Me
With feet rooted in gospel, a heart filled with soul, and a voice touched with jazz, Rev. Chanda has been weaving stories through song, humming melodies, and bending words since her childhood. Her voice has been described as “liquid clear” and her song as “bound to fill your spirit to its rim with musical serenity.”
Rev. Chanda loves to get people singing and has led congregational music at Be Yoga, The New York Open Center, One Spirit Learning Alliance, and currently leads monthly Interfaith Taizé in New York as well as music for Sunday Celebration services at spiritual centers in the NY/NJ area. She created and led the Praise Team at Sacred Center in New York, and has led Gospel workshops throughout the East coast.
