About Me

I am a native Arizonan, mother of four children and have one granddaughter. I attended college in my thirties after going through a divorce, and now hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. I taught in a public elementary school and am now working as a child and family therapist for a non-profit organization. I eventually want to merge education and therapy experience with my singing, songwriting and love for positive music together as my career. Anna attends Center For Spiritual Living Tucson regularly shares her musical talent with her spiritual community.

For many years, I allowed fear, insecurities and life situations to be excuses for not fully sharing my talents in music. In a spiritual study group, I was faced with clear messages of how much I truly desired and was called to share my voice and songs outwardly. After many prompts from others, I made a conscious commitment and sought out supportive people to help me face my anxieties of getting up in front of a large group and soloing. I did this at least once a year, on or around my birthday as a gift to myself. Through self reflection, I came to the realization, that keeping my gifts, talents and joy of music to myself out of fear of being vulnerable, was a wasteful act and something I no longer wanted to do. Sharing her music is an absolute blessing and I have discovered that the more I share from my heart and face my own fears and insecurities, the more authentic, joyful and inspirational she is with supporting others in sharing their talents and desires as well. I have applied many New Thought principles in my life and I know that as we all do our part of being who we truly are and sharing our gifts, we transform and expand the good in our community and the world around us. With this thought in mind, I am now passionate about expressing myself, while supporting others in expressing their own Divine Desires.
