On stage or on their critically acclaimed CDs Amy & Mark weave a sumptuous tapestry of guitars, vocals, keyboards, mandolin, ukulele and flutes."For decades both Amy & Mark Adams-Westin composed and performed in their own separate worlds. In 1993 Amy Westin walked into ""The Blue Guitar"" a live music venue Mark Adams ran in Stillwater Minnesota to perform at an open-mic. Amy was the voice for his new song ""I’M FLYING"" It was love at first hear. "Since then Amy & Adams has grown a career as visiting soloists in churches throughout the Twin Cities and other cities and states as well as regular performers at many venues in Minnesota and Iowa. They have performed at weddings" private and corporate parties high school assemblies as well as concerts for The Central Iowa Arts Association" and the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society. They also do a great show of older tunes for residents in many of the assisted living and elder care facilities in the area and are in high demand for summer Concert In The Park series throughout the Twin Cities Metro area." "Amy & Adams concerts have been featured on television in the Twin Cities and Iowa City" IA. They’ve performed live on KUMD KFAI and KAXE FM WHO & WCCO AM and WOI TV 5 Des Moines Iowa. Their three CDs have received airplay on radio stations as close as home and as far away as Belgium. The first Sail Away reached #9 on Kevin Elliot’s Folk Country Bluegrass top 20 on WEFT 90.1 FM in Champaign IL. The second CD Must Be Dreamin’ received national airplay and spent 14 weeks on The Roots Music Report Folk Top 40 chart in the summer of 2004. 2008’s LIVE Under The Covers again received national and international airplay and wonderful reviews. Both Amy & Mark were finalists in the New Songwriters Competition and performed at the 2000 Minnesota Folk Festival." Audiences of all ages and tastes love Amy & Adams.
