About Me

Lee Robert grew up in the Sonoran desert of the Southwest in Phoenix, AZ in the 1950’s. Three-part harmony became a part of her child’s-play as she, her twin sister, and older brother performed regularly for family and friends. She wrote her first song at 12 years old and started her professional career at 14 years old performing in the coffee houses of the 60’s. Over the next three decades she worked as “Lee Robert and Friends” regularly inviting other musicians to join her in a variety of alliances, venues, and musical styles.

Lee eventually worked her way up to singing at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco with a 13-piece orchestra. She has performed all over the U.S. England Finland Germany and New Zealand for audiences as large as 25000 people. In 1999 Lee met her husband Rick Flory an entrepreneur and conservationist who asked her to join him in his work for conservation and the environment. She uses her songwriting and storytelling to inspire people to connect in a deeper way to themselves and their environment.

Lee’s involvement with Earth Friends Wildlife Foundation and the wild things and wild places it protects has inspired a lot of creativity. She gave her first solo concert in late 2007 called “Wild at Heart” and released her fourth CD of original music in 2010. Lee and her husband Rick split their time in Phoenix AZ and Jackson Wyoming.
