Bio

Patti is a classically trained vocalist who integrates vocal technique with the expression of an open heart in warm communication. Patti's musicality is both expressed by intimate stylings that forge a sense of one-to-one conversation with the audience as well as sharing the pure joy of uptempo and uplifting songs and chants.

Patti was an adult member for several years of the international touring choir from Allan Hancock College under Maestro Glenn Montague before becoming a founding member of "Reflections of Love", a musical duo serving in local community venues such as churches and nursing homes. Following this involvement, Patti became a member of both her local Unity Church of Light's award-winning choir "The Joyful Sound" with director Nancy Boone and spent a musically satisfying and growth-filled few years in the inspirational jazz harmony quintet "Vocal Express" with director Howard Keele. Concurrent with choir participation, Patti alternately was a member of and directed the country music oriented praise group "Voices of Praise" with country artist and director Cliff Sharpe. Patti is also currently a vocalist/musician with talented composer and vocalist Mark Hardin's new thought oriented praise group (still unnamed) which, with newly serving Unity pastor Brian Walker, is striving to realize and deepen the new thought experience for local Unity congregants and grow church membership under the metaphysical concept from the movie "Field of Dreams" of "build it and they will come".
