Denise Rosier describes her songwriting as a soundtrack of how she feels.  Especially drawn to inspirational music, she feels that our current popular music could use some good messages, and better role models.  Every track on this album is skillfully produced, with great writing and great playing. With positive messages of affirmation and unity, the songs invite people to move forward and know that they can make a difference. Rosier knows how to craft songs with beautiful melodies, strong arrangements, and great choruses, all coming together to deliver a powerful message.

Here’s a few of my personal highlights:

The album starts off with high-energy in “Spirit is In This Place”. If you’re a  music director like me, this song would be perfect for opening any type of gathering.  It is all-inclusive and has a great sing-along chorus.

“One Heart” is an uplifting anthem written around the themes of Unity, Love, Peace and Spirit. The song builds to a powerful chorus with a soaring guitar part. “One heart, one mind, one power, in the name of Love”.

Track 4 is “Spirit’s Hymn”, a lilting song in 6/8. It’s a beautifully written Celtic hymn with an elegantly simple melody that drifts by sweetly with lovely fiddle and acoustic guitar playing.

A reminder of the interconnectedness between each of us, “Everything is Sacred” is a steady, gentle song about the divinity of all things and the beauty in all life’s experiences.  Rosier invites us to view everything with wonder.

One of my favorites, ”Peace, Light, Love”, is a beautiful prayer in song. Rosier captures her sentiment of stillness and acceptance with lush harmonies, full string parts and her own strong, yet tender voice. I love this as a pre-meditation song. Rosier has a way of carrying you into a space of peace and readiness.

Every song on this album is beautifully written with inspiring New Thought messages.  Many of the tracks would be perfect for congregational songs.

Rosier has a strong, clear, lovely voice, and it is well served with the top notch production on this project.  One thing I can say; this album will stay with me for a long time.
