About Me

Singer. Author. Civic Engager. Speaker. Composer. Poet. Stanford Lawyer. Woman. I joyfully wear many hats. But it’s through “voice” that my other gifts are channeled. An original member of Bobby McFerrin’s touring a cappella ensemble, “Voicestra,” I’ve honed the skills of integrating the power of singing and creative, contemplative practices into my facilitation of groups for over 20 years. I also unleash the superpower of singing to inspire transformative change in the world’s most innovative leaders. As a facilitator in Cultivation Women’s Leadership (CWL) intensives or Rockwood Leadership year-long trainings, I stand beside the person I’m coaching and direct the energy in the room to help them free their voice. But it’s not just about helping a leader find and free their individual voice. It’s about training communities of practice to lend each other their voices; learning how to amplify their wisdom–and lead–together. Singing has the power to reclaim, enrich and even save lives.
