The Posi Music Tribe

emPower's main event of the year, the annual Posi Music Festival, brings together what I and many, many more believe is the most talented, and amazingly dedicated "Tribe" in the music industry - the Posi Music Tribe.

There are Pop stars that use their fame and success to help others sure. They also may include a "Posi" song or two on their CD projects reaching millions. But how many of them began their careers dedicating thier talents and music to something higher? For most, it was "making it" first, then comfortable in their success, turning their attention to service.
But for the over 100 artists now represented by the Posi Awards, their first intention is service to the planet and using their songwriting and singing "superpowers" to help create a world that works for everyone through the uniting, healing power of music and positive messages.

You can go to the Grammys and be awed by seeing your favorite Pop or R&B superstar. You can wait for an autograph and perhaps a handshake before they are hurried away in their limos to be with other superstars. Or you can come to the Annual Posi Music Festival where artists and fans are ONE. Where you can get one on one time and even mentoring from the artists who have written the songs that have healed and helped you along your way.

There are no superstar egos here. All artists are dedicated to a simple idea; Raising the consciousness of the planet to create a fair and just world for everyone. Whether a fan or an artist, you are honored, welcomed and almost always healed on some level.

Though the weekend culminates with Sunday evenings Posi Award Celebration, it is just the "period" at the end of an amazingly profound sentence. A Posi Award recognizes excellence in songwriting and never implies one song was better than another or that one artist "wins" and the others "lose". There is always a mutual respect and admiration for all involved - including the fans.

If stardom was measured by humanitarianism, compassion, and love for all, these would be the superstars you would be watching on the Grammys and listening to on mainstream radio.

I'm proud to be a part of the birth of this growing industry, this transformational miracle, this bringing together of super stars previously shooting through space and time alone - now, a huge shower of bright shining stars lighting up the Universe as one amazing Tribe - the Posi Music Tribe.
