The Posi Music Festival Promises Its Biggest Year Ever

Elfers, Florida (FPRC) December 5, 2011 -- emPower Music & Arts' Posi Music Awards started as a modest one-night celebration, with only 100 songs submitted in 2005. Last year, with over 500 songs in the running for an award, and hundreds upon hundreds of fans and artists in attendance for the four day festival, the Posi Awards gained world wide recognition.
Posi Music is a genre that has only recently been given a definitive label. With a majority of its artists on the Indy circuit, and the music industry rapidly unraveling, Posi Music has defied the odds and continued to grow stronger. This growth is no surprise to any working in the genre. Posi Music artists know the hunger for the music they create, and the healing touch of their art on the lives of their fans. That is the very core of emPower Music & Arts, as its members share the message "our music can transform lives and change the world."
The upcoming 7th Annual emPower Music & Arts' Posi Music Festival promises so much more than a fabulous music awards ceremony. In addition to the current nominees performing on the night of the Posi Awards, each evening of the festival features a major concert showcasing the best talents in the Posi Music industry. One of the biggest joys of the Posi Music Festival is the encouragement for artists to create their own jam sessions in hallways and lounges, micro-concerts in hotel rooms and even pool-side. During the day, there is also a focus on growth, both personal and business, as workshops specially targeted to fans or musicians provide opportunity for everyone to experience Positive Change in their life.
The intimate mix of fans and Posi Artists wraps the entire weekend in a symbiotic energy. It's an unique event, a positive generator for all to tap into. The membrane separating fan from musician is very thin at this festival, as everyone is encouraged to not just look on but to actively participate. Artists look forward to this weekend year long, anticipating the surge in creative energy that often results in volumes of new lyrics and riffs; energy that will continue to drive the Posi Music genre through the next year.
