emPower Music Rights Program
The grass roots audience for Posi Music lies predominantly in New Thought churches and centers where the music is used consistently for Sunday services. Many Posi Artists make their livings touring exclusively Unity, CSL and Unitarian centers.
Copyright law requires permission or royalty payments from the copyright owner if the church reproduces their work in any way ie, – projecting or printing the words, recording the performance of the song on the service recordings, including music on your web streaming or archived talks, events or services.
Unlike ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and now even CCLI, where little if no money is ever paid from these license companies to the songwriters used most in New Thought Churches, EmPower Music Rights has over 1000 songs and catalogs that you can choose from to use and duplicate for a small yearly license fee. Included in our catalog are songs by Karen Drucker, David Roth, Richard Mekdeci, Sue Riley, Robert Anderson, Karen Taylor Good, and many more.
You can now be in compliance with copyright law and know that the artists you love and appreciate will be getting compensated when you use their music.
If you are a songwriter who has music that is used in churches, you can add your catalog to our catalog. It’s fast and absolutely free. You retain all rights to your music. We just want to pay you if your song is used.
