The forum post about nostalgic music reminded me how much I love Electric Light Orchestra, so I bought the download "Don't Bring Me Down." Now, this is what I call high-power feel-good get-up-and-get-down music! *dances*
That song always makes me smile too, but I think at least part of the reason is because of something a friend of mine said, years ago. He thought the repeated "whoo-OOH-hoo" sounded like the entire band suffered spontaneous wedgies, and I've never quite gotten that image out of my head.
