Suzanne's beautiful song "The Heart Of New Orleans" made such an impact on me that I was compelled to put together this slideshow of Katrina photos. After wiping my tears several times I knew I was on the right track. I am so in awe of Suzanne's ability to write songs that speak so eloquently from the heart. Being able to write, perform, and collaborate with her is one of the greatest pleasures that I have ever known. I am truly my happiest when we are making music together. I am so grateful. I'm glad you were touched by the "heart of New Orleans"
I wrote this song in the Spring just after KATRINA, and was there again last Spring. It has been several years now, but yet so much work still needs to be done there.Time will heal.......
