The general idea is for there to be information online when a fan uses a search engine, ie Google.

This can be achieved several ways:

• creating a website
• using social networks and communities
• writing in a blog
• using promotional space on vendor websites
• participate in fan forums
• online magazines (ezines)
• virtual exhibits or performances
