Hello - the forums seemed quiet, so I thought why not simply say, hello! As Maya Angelou as much as said during her recent appearance on the Diane Rehm show (NPR/WAMU), you never know who needs a smile and hello, so I'll err on the side of seeing what it starts.
Nice to see some old friends and acquaintances here, and I'm glad to be part of a community that brings creative energy and beauty to a world desperately in need of it. So thanks for all you do, and warm holiday wishes from our home to yours.

This site has become such a blessing to me. I've found that when I feel down or stressed, coming here reminds me to put things in perspective.
