... in Oklahoma City we are remembering the Graffiti Bridge.

I won't go into the details of its multi decade life, but suffice it to say that many remember this bridge either positively or negatively. It was what it was called. A bridge of graffiti.

I like the analogy. Should this forum be better titled the Graffiti Bridge? Aren't we attempting to "bridge" our opinions to others? Are we constructing a "bridge" of understanding through this website?

What's your opinion?

I remember that bridge! What a metaphor that is for what we have here. And for those of you who are too young to get the signifigance, back in the day, graffiti walls and bridges were the original social networking sites. That was our public forum where we announced who we loved, hated, and ridiculed.

One my favorite birthday gifts was the graffiti "happy birthday" my dad left on an overpass on my route to work. Ah! The good old days!

We may have lost the Graffiti Bridge, but the spirit still lives on. And never fear, graffiti art is being preserved in some places of the world. Check this out, Rick:

ICU Art is a Graffiti Art Production Studio in Los Angeles. They do murals, live painting events and even exhibitions.
