I know from my experience with the high school kids in my church and school that all of their music is digitized. They love to share share share and to be the first to introduce their friends to new music.

I am suprised more members have not responded here.
I am a new member and was submitting some songs to the contest and saw this question on the forums page.
Not above melody and tempo I would suggest is also video. My students watch a lot of You Tube and My Space.
I think this doubles the audience size. Not to mention My Space leads to what was mentioned by you Mrs. Z, sharing and networking.
