Karen is a motivational speaker whose intention is to teach people to love and accept themselves as they are, as well as to love and accept others as they are. She also teaches that all of us are magnificent, wonderful, miraculous beings no matter where we are in our life. It's also important to learn to be happy no matter what your circumstances, to laugh, and to enjoy life. Humor is very important, and not taking yourself or life so seriously. Life was meant to be easy and to be enjoyed. It's just we human beings who make it appear to be so difficult.
Karen's spiritual life is very important to her, and one of her talks is about her spiritual journey and how she came to be where she is today. She takes you from her earliest memories of going to church, becoming a fanactical fundamentalist, her breakdown, depression, and finally, finding the answers within where they were all the time.
In May, she became a minister through an Interfaith Organization so that she could take her spiritual life to the next level. We are in the midst of a spiritual awakening, and she is excited about being on this spectacular ride! As she says, "Life is like a roller coaster. You can either hang on for dear life and scream in terror, or you can put your hands up in the air, enjoy the ride, and scream Wheeeeeee!"
