I knew, when I joined emPowerMA, that I loved the concept of a social network for creative people to gather, but I didn't know that I was stepping onto the ground floor of what is promising to be a such a hot trend. On January 1, a longtime favorite of mine, Carlos Santana, became the latest to launch a networking site, Architects of a New Dawn. Like our home here at emPowerMA, his site is devoted to positive and transformative music and arts, and is "designed to engage people of all walks of life to work together to create positive change in the global community." As new sites sharing our values and goals appear, and our own membership expands, I feel so proud to be part of this very-positive global movement!
