Our projected iTunes release date was Feb 6 but got home after having a wonderful musical experience to find The Heart Of New Orleans live in the iTunes Store. Whoohoo! Thanks to everyone who has supported us in our musical vision.

2Suite has been working hard writing and recording for the past 6 months and is pleased to announce our second release in the iTunes store. The Heart Of New Orleans will be available in the iTunes store the first week of Feb. Also we have many new songs on our cbc radio 3 website along with our finished video. In case you are wondering if I forgot about the video for Create a Presence................. I didn't. Many months and a new imac 24 inch later I have the first cut ready for your consideration. Finally getting a handle on Final Cut video software but still have a few things to learn yet. Off to a good start I think (for a home video producer) but I will let you be the judge. Thanks for being patient.

Suzanne's beautiful song "The Heart Of New Orleans" made such an impact on me that I was compelled to put together this slideshow of Katrina photos. After wiping my tears several times I knew I was on the right track. I am so in awe of Suzanne's ability to write songs that speak so eloquently from the heart. Being able to write, perform, and collaborate with her is one of the greatest pleasures that I have ever known. I am truly my happiest when we are making music together. I am so grateful. It was one year ago today that Suzanne and I started down the path of being a couple. In that year, she has taught me so much. A man could not ever find a kinder more compassionate or loving woman than Suzanne. In one short year our jouney has taken us down so many rewarding and fulfilling paths. From our unforgetable trip to New Orleans last spring to wonderful Canadian wilderness ski weekends. Then there is our dream like music making which always leaves me feeling like I just had an out of body experience.

This is a aong written from Suzannes own personal experience. Having a sister and brother in law living in New Orleans, Suzanne has been a frequent visitor and indeed went back again not so long after Katrina had done her worst. She sings this one truly from the heart as always, and I was lucky enough to catch this version of it on my trusty maudio microtrak. The same way I did create a presence come to think of it. I recorded about 5 takes including one Live take on Sunday morning, and this version just spoke to me.

Suzanne and I spent our Valentines weekend in the lovely Canadian Shield and were constantly in awe of nature in all it's splendor. I don't know about you folks but I never knew that deer could get so tame that you could hand feed them, but apparently it is true. Actually it's just proof that Suzanne can charm anyone or anything. She truly is too sweet. Happy Valentine's Day Suzi.

A big happy valentine's day to the sweetest woman in the world, my lovely Suzanne. A more loving and caring partner would be hard to imagine. Suzanne smiles and puts up with my moods, insecurity, and general grumpiness. She is always the sun bursting through the clouds to brighten my cloudy day and I rarely find the words to thank her, so I try my hardest to show her. This weekend she is taking me on a wonderful Valentine's romantic retreat to the tall pines resort here in friendly Manitoba. Being the luckiest man in the world is one thing. Knowing it is the really important part.
